Review of D.A.R.Y.L. (1985) by Trent C — 06 Feb 2008
One of those slightly edgy 80s family movies where kids actually curse. I can't not like Michael McKean, he's good in everything I've seen. Barret Oliver, not so much, but he does better here than in other things.
The movie has an odd feel to it. It's apparently set mostly in Georgia or South Carolina, but it feels like it should be the mid-west. Good family film. Good for nostalgia factor.
