Review of Darkness Falls (2003) by Brendan N — 22 Dec 2012
The film may have made money but it deserved more depth and focus. I had read user reviews and thought this would be much better than this. The film is quite over the top with a long boring no surprise plot line.
The opening of the film was the only interesting part of the film. The concept changes over the course of the film but who cares as this film is a waste of talent. I thought this film may have grown into one of those cult status films over the years, but sadly this is one of those bad/terrible films that should be forgotten. THe central villain is poorly managed and just feels silly, not scary. I'm shocked that this film was some what successful, there are better horror films that have failed at the box office. I would give this one a giant miss or you can laugh at how bad the acting is. 17/08/2018.
