Review of Darkness (2002) by Elaine M — 03 Jan 2009
You name a horror cliché, this movie has it- there is nothing at all original about its plot, scripting or charaterisation, nor is there anything even remotely memorable about any of the scenes. It somehow still manages to be quite watchable, and the ridiculous overusage of some very weak and recycled suspense techniques is actually kind of hilarious.
For me also watchable due to my infatuation with Anna Paquin (who really is the only castmember worth mentioning from this one), but really this is tolerable background horror and nothing more...
