Review of Darkman II: The Return of Durant (1995) by M. Sean M — 28 Sep 2007
Very good sequel to the original. Vosloo was a good replacement for Neeson. I enjoyed him as Darkman/Peyton. I have no clue how Durant could've survived that helicopter crash in the first movie but I'm glad because this great movie wouldn't have been made.
Larry Drake is ruthless & hilarious both at the same time. And he gets top billing. It was good to see him back in the saddle as Durant. Darkman's make-up was well done(no pun intended) by KNB.
I think my favourite part was when Durant shot Ivan with the particle gun & Ivan exploded, his replacement hip clanking against the ground. RIP David Brinkman, Peyton's partner for about 10 minutes.
