Sam Raimi made up his own super hero for a super hero movie: Darkman -- kind of Batman meets Spawn meets Phantom of the Opera? A lot of the scenes and shots reminded me of the superhero movies over the past several years.
It is a real solid movie with only a few well placed one-liners and a lot less scary than watching this as a kid. Nothing really too special about this to make it more than a decent time killer.
