Whilst the acting is strong and the subject matter compelling, I really disliked a scene that smacked of 2017 political correctness. The inclusion of the African guy gave Churchill far more credit than he deserved.
Winston was a complex man and made a fundamental difference to the UK at its darknest period however you cannot ascribe onto him the attributes of a humanitarian. His attitude in India showed how little he cared.
It would have been more fitting to show the real man.
