Review of Darkest Hour (2017) by Mad M — 19 Feb 2018
I never felt that this was as Oscar-worthy as previous historical films were, most notably Frost/Nixon.
This long drawn out storyline over one small topic was only salvaged by Oldman successfully playing a man whom Robin Williams accurately described in 2002, a man doing great speeches while drunk on cognac.
That's Winston Churchill, everyone!
