Not a good film at all. Stylistically overblown it actually took the drama out of an incredibly dramatic time. I never felt myself getting drawn into the film in that world of losing oneself in a good film.
Old man was great in it but the film left me wondering when Superman was going to appear. The scene in the Underground was beyond belief; quite the most painful scene I have seen in my living memory. I believe in Churchill, absolutely the right man for the time but this parody does him no service.
Death of Stalin was a much more realistic film, which says it all for me.
