Many top-notch actors have treated moviegoers with a fascinating portrait of Winston Churchill, but Gary Oldman, I believe, is the first actor to successfully disappear completely into the role. The cinematography, score and production design gives this political drama a special cinematic quality not often seen from films of this genre.
