Review of Dark Water (2012) by Troy R — 18 Aug 2009
Its not easy adapt a Japanese ghost story film into a mainstream Hollywood blockbuster, the criteria are a lot different.
99% of the time it doesn't work but in this case it does, with a dark depressive atmosphere consistant throughout the film and a brilliant brooding at times intense performance from Jennifer Connelly.
All in all a bloody good effort.
