Review of Dark Water (2012) by Winnie L — 17 May 2010
When I heard this was a remake from a Japanese movie...i instantly got the creeps. "The Grudge" had scared the living lights outta me for days n nights! So throughout the entire movie, I was expecting the same horror, but nope, it didn't have the same effect.
This was not really scary. The best part was the last 10 mins. I think it was just all the suspense that I had built within myself. I think if I never knew that it was a Japanese remake, I would've not been creeped out at all.
Overall, meh. The little girl that played Ceci was very cute though :).
