Review of Dark Water (2005) by Natasha G — 04 Jun 2009
Extremely intense, above-average horror/mystery thriller: The idea wasn't all that new and clearly shows some parallels to Nakata's earlier "The Ring", but it works again and I admit that the weird children device creeps me out again and again.
Connelly once again as a psychotic and paranoid character was especially noteworthy. Avoid this movie though when you're not feeling well as this is probably not gonna have an especially uplifting effect on your mood.
