Review of Dark Victory (1939) by Mathieu C — 16 Jun 2007
This is one of Bette Davis' best performances by far. Tells the story of a woman who finds out she is going to die in a matter of months. At first she decends into despair but then she emerges victorious over her dark fate.
Bette Davis would have easily won the Best Actress Oscar had it not been for a small film called Gone with the Wind.
