The Dark Tower features a brand-name director (Freddie Francis) and some notable cast-members (Michael Moriarty, Jenny Agutter, Anne Lockhart, etc.), but this Euro-horror thriller fails to ever truly deliver on its potential.
Unfortunately, The Dark Tower is never creepy, stylish, or gory, and it even fails to be trashy, which is an aspect one can at least generally expect from Euro-horror. Ultimately, it is just a boring supernatural thriller that never delivers on the promise of its premise.
