Testament to unbridled cinematic ambition. Shoe string budget used to perfection on cynical, absurdist sci-fi anti-extravaganza. Pacing a little off in the middle, perhaps (a little too much time devoted to Pinback's alien-hunt and lift-shaft shenanigans, which are entirely removed from the rest of the action and "plot"), but otherwise an amusing and inventive parade of ideas (even if many of them are stolen from Ray Bradbury and Phillip K.
Dick).
