Review of Dark Star (1974) by Adam E — 04 Jul 2010
Quirky, darkly funny, early '70s sci-fi classic.
Whilst obviously a low budget production (beachball anyone?) this film is lots of fun nevertheless.
I never fail to be amazed by the fact that John Carpenter directed this (though he wrote it together with Dan O'Bannon which undoubtedly saved it), dowhill all the way after this eh John?
