(1974) Dark Star.
SCIENCE-FICTION.
Subtle, science-fiction vehicle which the 'idea' can be appreciated centering on a crew whose job is it to destroy specific planets, and then spend their spare time doing ordinary things, other people on earth do. Similar idea to "Dawn Of The Dead" where much of the movie centers on the activities of it's survivors than the zombies themselves. Concept can sometimes be overshadowed by it's mediocre acting and budget but it's still genuine.
