Review of Dark Skies (2013) by Thomas S — 13 Aug 2013
"Dark Skies" has a compelling and interesting story to tell, and on paper im sure it sounded great. On the screen, however, things that should have been creepy and ominous end up looking ridiculously silly, so much so that on multiple occasions I was completely removed from the film.
What does work, however, works well, and as I began to look past the silliness, I appreciated it a bit more.
