You could feel Tim's hand over this whole movie, and that is what makes him a special director. However, lots of elements seemed borrowed from other movies, and when you watch it you'll get what I mean.
The story never really explains itself, something that annoyed me the whole time. However, there are some hysterical moments which make it worth watching. Johnny depp is good as always, so a pretty okay movie overall.
