I am not really sure what the goal was with this movie. Its not really funny and certainly not scary. Depp can be entertaining in most roles and I suppose you could watch it for him or if you were a die hard fan of the original series(I was not).
Otherwise its a jumble that will add no value to your movie viewing life.
