My mother-in-law tried to convince me that the original Dark Shadows TV show was/is "the bomb" and I must watch every episode. Well, I still haven't seen every episode, but I did catch the "Dark Shadows" movie starring Johnny Depp.
This film would've been better with a cast of completely unknown actors - Depp spoils everything he touches. Can Johnny Depp come up with anything new? Every picture he's in seems like an extension of Ichabod Crane in Burton's "Sleepy Hollow".
Horrible story and increasingly overused effects and digital backdrops add to the pain of this feature film.
