Review of Dark Passage (1947) by Daniel M — 16 Jan 2008
A good caper, written and directed by Delmer Daves, the one who directed the original 3:10 to yuma, and 1950's Broken Arrow. Stars Bogart as an escaped convict, who was wrongly accussed of his wife's murder, breaks out of jail, and get's a face lift to hide his identity from police.
This is probably the only movie that you will first see Bogarts face about an hour into it. Brilliantly shot and written.
