Review of Dark Passage (1947) by Amrita S — 11 Mar 2010
I just like the hell out of this movie.
Because Boggie and Bacall have so much chemistry together. Because Lauren Bacall is so sexy without being lewd.
And because they actually get away together with a murder rap hanging over them.
I also like the fact they actually married in real life, and stayed true to each other until death parted them, which adds to the mystique and credence of their on-screen romance.
