Review of Dark of the Sun (1968) by Christopher S — 06 Feb 2010
Underrated adventure classic is an action-packed African adventure. Strong characters - including an excellent, cynical central performance by Rod Taylor - taut suspense, and explosive action sequences make it great adrenaline-soaked entertainment, but it also takes time to take things deeper.
Great Morricone-esque score by Jacques Loussier. A true classic that deserves to be better known.
