Review of Dark House (2014) by John A — 28 Jul 2016
An earnest attempt to make a deep, meaningful film. The first clue that it would fail- when the lead character does a slow cruise around a bar table- touching strangers one at a time to see if each one would die a horrible death. Poor Nick, who's lived with this curse for his whole life nevertheless thinks it's funny to pretend like one guy will die horribly. Yuck, yuck. Then the next guy really will die horribly.
Downhill from there.
