Review of Dark Harvest (2004) by Snorri A — 20 Jun 2007
This movie is a Theatrical Masterpiece; in that it was never shown in a Theatre and it's not a masterpiece at all. In fact, it's pretty bad. But when you get a chance to watch a movie that has a bunch of your friends in it you have to jump on it.
I know most of the cast and both of the Scarecrows. This movie took a lot out of them but they had fun making it. They didn't make any money, but hey, it's about the art......right? I haven't had the opprtunity to watch this movie with any of them, but I know at least one of them has a copy.
Who would have thought that an awefull, low budget, piece o' shit horror movie filmed in a BFE West Virginia town would be in Blockbusters all over the U.S.. So here's to you Dark Harvest, proving that you can completely suck and still take the country by storm.
