This was a very transfixing movie. It has less message, like most documentaries, but more experience. There is no narrartion, and it is not educational. It puts you under New York in an Amtrak tunnel, living with the homeless, seeing, hearing, and eating all that they do.
Most are potheads, all have made mistakes. But all have regret, and all have changed in some way. It was very, very very real, and it is hard to speak while you watch. You realize: these are real people.
The way they think, and talk, and act, is just so interesting, though its hard to say that without coming off as rude or cruel. I loved this documentary, the black and white, and the title.
