Review of Dark Days (2012) by Simon L — 14 Jul 2008
The shades of black and white, the silhouettes that loom in the sparse light, the shadows that bounce of the walls all show that these are Dark Days indeed. this film takes a highly proliferated social problem, drug abuse/homelessness, and gives it a very human face.
the true genius of this film is that it holds a very strong message, but does not sacrifice entertaining(/alienating) its audience (see Bable).
