Review of Dark Days (2012) by Jj M — 30 Sep 2012
A real-life Jim Jaramusch film! Seriously though, this is sit-down-and-shut-up stuff. A brilliant examination of homeless (perhaps not exactly homeless!) people living deep in the bowels of the New York subways.
A deeply affecting story of crack-heads, down-and-outs, street scavengers and social outcasts. It's their stories, their heartbreaks, their loves, their personalities and believe it or not, they are more interesting than a lot of the people I know!!!
