Review of Dark Days (2000) by Mandy H — 16 Aug 2007
This was an urban myth for years, but turned out to be true... a portrait of life in a subway tunnel, made by, for, and starring, the homeless folk themselves, using borrowed and donated equipment and reject film stock.
To describe it as 'atmospheric' is to do it an injustice. Surprising, moving, remarkable.
