Review of Dark City (1998) by Alex H — 30 May 2010
It's definitely obvious that The Matrix was influenced by this movie. Which isn't a bad thing. For 1998, this had some ground breaking visuals (I don't want to spoil, but let's just say you'll see buildings sprout from the ground before your very eyes).
With some decent performances, very stylized visuals that you won't soon forget and an interesting story with an open ending (which is a good thing), Dark City is a definite must-see for any film-noir, mystery, sci-fi or Matrix fans.
