A truly groundbreaking and flat out awesome science fiction tale that will no doubt stand the test of time. This film is a classic and should be seen as one of the greatest science fiction films ever made.
It's a unique tale with a beautifully dark atmosphere and a frightening premise. A true gothic masterpiece. The Strangers make fantastic villains and are creepy and intense. Kiefer Sutherland gives a standout performance in this film.
I believe this to be his best work. I adore Jennifer Connelly for both her beauty and talent. William Hurt is memorable and Rufus Sewell is superb in the lead role. The director of this film, Alex Proyas, is one of the most underrated and absolutely brilliant in all of cinema.
He has a striking imagination which is quite clear while watching this extraordinary achievement. Dark City is a tremendous work of the imagination. Brilliant in every way.
