Review of Dark City (1998) by Alastair H — 15 Dec 2010
A thought provoking film about what makes us human. It has a tone and look very similar to The Matrix but this is an inferior film. It looks fantastic and has a great atmosphere but the story isn't as good as I'd hoped.
The film is basically a retelling of Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" and it is a very effective and clever one. (15.12.10).
