A pleasant surprise. Though it gets off to a highly erratic start, the setting and plot continually thicken, almost as if you're completing a puzzle while watching. And after in plugging in the final piece do you finally learn the truth.
..which I won't spoil. The movie toys with you and uses its stunning visuals and emphatic visions to sell a rather cunning and out of the ordinary noir sci-fi thriller.
