Review of Dark City (1950) by Gordon S — 11 Jun 2010
Tells a similar story to THE MATRIX in about a third of the time. Terrific performances and a filmmaking work of art by Proyas. The mystical and suspenseful first hour of the film may be the best I've ever seen in a movie theater.
Doesn't resolve the story the way I would have, but 1) not my movie and 2) that doesn't mean I didn't like the ending.
