Review of Dark City (1950) by Edgar C — 25 Dec 2010
Before the 20th Century was over, Proyas made sure to strengthen his cult status while attempting to acquire a more mainstream flavor. He is still expressing his ideas in a stylish way, grabbing every single element of film-noir and sci-fi cinema of the past originated by recognized celluloid masters. Naturally, the result is insane, but generally stunning.
78/100.
