Review of Dark City (1950) by Veronica . — 01 Apr 2015
Think of a world sad beyond comforting because you wake up to see you have some blood trickling down your forehead and you don't know how it got there or who you are. Then douse that idea under the light of some film noir and a head full of curiosity.
I was tickled pink by this one; it was thrilling as you unravel the story with the protagonist John Murdock (Rufus Sewell) as you discover his back story and how this city became. Director Alex Proyas sure knows his dark cities and selected a great cast.
