Review of Daredevil (2003) by Aziz A — 29 Feb 2012
This crushingly lame movie stars Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock, a lawyer who gets blinded by radiation that also heightens his other senses to superhuman levels. The murder of his prizefighter dad spurs Matt to put on some red tights and thrash criminals as the vigilante named Daredevil.
Complicating Daredevil's life are the wanton efforts of The Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan), the alluring danger of Elektra (Jennifer Garner), and the obnoxious slo-mo poses of Bullseye (Colin Farrell) While made with a veneer of competence, there isn't really much that can be done with the predictable and lifeless story.
