Review of Daredevil (2003) by James W — 08 Apr 2015
Daredevil gets picked on a lot but the Director's Cut proved that it could have been better if some scenes were left in and some left out. Daredevil leaving Eleckra to go save someone in the Director's Cut. Is more likely what a real hero would do than him ignoring the cries for help to sleep with her in the theatrical released version. Not that I ever blamed him though. Garner is hot in this with those green contacts lol.
Affleck isn't as bad as everyone says. It's the silly scenes that were left in that are bad. Like Murdock's playful fight with Elecktra in a playground. That being cut out could have helped the film even more than the sex scene being left out.
There's also more scenes of Murdock as a lawyer which also would have been good for the theatrical version. Since that is his day job after all and we don't get to know much about his other life except that he has a partner/bestfriend named Franklin (Jon Faverau) and that he has a thing for Elecktra. The Director's cut still isn't spectacular but it is the version you should see before you label the movie as one of the worst superhero films.
