Review of Daredevil (2003) by Lewis W — 15 Jan 2015
Maybe it's because outside of some animated appearances or the 'Trial Of The Incredible Hulk' I don't have any greater awareness of Daredevil, so unlike fans of the character I was able to approach this without any emotional attachment or preconceived idea of what a DD film should be like. On the whole I think its a fairly standard comic book movie, covers the origin has a scenery chewing villain and doesn't quite live up to its potential. The late Michael Clarke Duncan is a great choice for the role of Fisk, it's just a shame the film never generated a sequel as he was greatly underused and the most potential of any character in the film.
Stand out moment, Frank Miller with a pen stuck in his head.
