Review of Daredevil (2003) by Mitchell Z — 26 Jan 2015
Daredevil is a huge comic book film misfire on every level. From the casting to the action to the dialogue, its a mess. Ben Affleck is as dry as can be, and brings nothing unique to the role. I always found Daredevil to be an interesting character, but Affleck and director Mark Steven Johnson found a way to ruin that.
Jennifer Garner, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Colin Farrell are all underwhelming. The film has somewhat of an interesting story and is pretty dark, but a lot of corny dialogue and laughable fight scenes make it tough to watch.
