Review of Daredevil (2003) by Bill B — 08 Aug 2015
Somehow found myself fished into this one on cable, so I decided to give it a re-watch for the first time since I saw it in theater. The film *is* unfortunately as bad as I remembered, though I have to admit to having softened slightly as far as my contempt for it goes.
The special effects are fairly well-conceived, but then you have Daredevil scampering up the walls in much the same fashion as Spider-man, which just looks silly, as well as the weird arbitrary change of making the Kingpin a black guy, which is just pointless.
Rental? Maybe? I find myself unable to look away, regardless of how awful the comic adaptation, as it represents my miss-spent youth, so that may not be for everyone.
