Review of Daredevil (2003) by Guido S — 10 Feb 2014
Before Affleck dons the batsuit, I thought I would revisit his other comic book movie. Tells the origin of the blind lawyer from Hell's Kitchen who tries to get justice. The theatrical cut doesn't really focus on the lawyer stuff and was better than the theatrical, but the theatrical is still ok.
Some things don't work, like the fight scene in the park and a lot of the scenes of the younger Matt Murdock. It's ok, not nearly as bad as Elektra, but I feel this one gets a bad rap for Affleck's reputation at the time.
Plus, the son from The Sopranos plays a bully, which is fitting.
