Review of Dare to Dream: The Alan Kulwicki Story (2005) by Adam S — 18 Nov 2008
Very nice indie film about a racing icon. Obviously, a low-budget film but it told a good story and did it well. Some solid performances (Deke stands out) and the lead actor did a good job with Kulwicki's weird little affectations.
Good visuals for an low-budget indie and the storyline is neatly woven by the director. Enormous amount of locations. Saw it with a group of non-racefans and many of them cried at the end. Nice tribute.
Wish it had a bigger budget.
