Review of Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959) by Terri J — 14 Jul 2007
A cinematic epic the likes of which we as a species are not likely to see again. The fiddle work is only topped by the high grade special effects. The final battle between the sloth aliens and the mole people was especially well done.
I'm amazed at their shocking, gritty portrayal of the dual evils of cancer and AIDS. It made me believe in magic again.
