Review of Danton (1983) by Sérgio L — 20 Mar 2010
Great cinema experience.
Interesting portrait on revolutionary crossroads: on one hand, power leads to corruption which leads to revolutionary subversion and dictatorship; on the other hand, failing to consumate power also leads to the failure of the Ideal, as faction diversity becomes the weakness of the new system and prevents any government from efficiently rule... in the end men loose their heads.
