If you want to watch a family go from one impossibly dangerous situation to another, this is the movie for you. That's right, there's almost no plot, no character development, just ash and burning buildings and acid lakes.
The only reason to watch this movie would be to experience the overwhelming feeling of relief that you don't happen to live next to a dormant-but-could-be-active volcano.
