Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Mike H — 04 Jun 2009
Ironically done at the time when Pierce Brosnan was in a huge role in his career as 007 James Bond.
I first rented this film back in the day when VHS was popular. (not so much now haha) I remember watching this for the first time and by the end I had really enjoyed the film. So when the film came on TV recently I thought I would give it another watch.
I've not really seen a lot of disaster films especially with there being plenty to choose from in the genre. With this film though I really liked the setting and the plot which was brilliantly played out. And of course the performances of Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton were great.
Overall I would definitely consider buying this on DVD when I get the chance.
