Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Philip N — 26 Feb 2012
Hollywood certainly knows how to make a disaster film an this one doesn't disappoint. First off you have a man who is dedicated to his work on volcanoes as his lover is killed during an eruption so his motivation is to suceed were he failed before.
Dante's Peak is a dormant volcano an Harry believes its gona explode but no one will listen until its too late. There are some silly bits in the movie that kids should never do but in other places there's great heroism.
Watch out for the bit showing extreme claustrophobia it is a memorable moment. Give it a watch if you love disaster films.
