Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Samuel C — 22 Jul 2010
In the late 90's, disaster movies were pumped out by the dozen for the cost of a dime. I've seen all the ones that turned into big hits ("Volcano," "Deep Impact," "Armageddon," etc.
), and to me this was one of the better ones for sure. The special effects are excellent and it just worked for me better than most other disaster flicks. To me, only "Twister" is better.
